About CUSTODE
A musical storytelling project rooted in family, faith, resilience, second chances, and the moments that quietly shape who we become.
Thank you for being here.
Before you listen to the music, I'd like to share why this project exists...
CUSTODE (koo-STOH-day) is the musical storytelling identity of an artist, educator, husband, father, and lifelong believer in the power of human connection.
Rooted in lived experience, family legacy, faith, resilience, and the quiet moments that shape who we become, CUSTODE creates deeply personal songs that explore love, loss, healing, sacrifice, second chances, and the stories people often carry in silence.
Blending traditional songwriting, piano-inspired composition, and thoughtfully selected emerging creative technologies, CUSTODE stands at the intersection of timeless storytelling and modern musical innovation.
Every song begins with something real—personal memories, family history, relationships, hardships, unanswered questions, and the moments that leave lasting marks on the heart. But these songs were never written simply to tell one person’s story. They were created to invite others into their own stories—to see pieces of themselves, their families, their pain, their hope, and their healing reflected in the music.
Though released under a pseudonym, the heart behind CUSTODE is deeply personal. The name was chosen not to hide, but to create space—for honesty, vulnerability, creative freedom, and a mission larger than the artist himself.
Derived from the Italian word meaning guardian, steward, and keeper, CUSTODE represents the people who quietly change lives through presence, compassion, and connection.
At its heart, CUSTODE stands for:
A keeper of stories. A guardian of connection.
This music was never created for recognition, attention, or ego. It was created to honor the stories people carry, and to help others feel seen, understood, connected, and never truly alone.
